Did you know that thousands of corporations receive subsidies and lucrative contracts from the government, yet they still pay poverty wages and no benefits to their workers? There is a national movement afoot to put an end to this kind of abuse and make corporations accountable for the just treatment of workers. The first step in securing workers rights is to obtain job security for low-wage service workers. We must assure that workers in Sonoma County receive fair wages and full benefits.
